Bright Lights, Big City by DJ Amen

To put it simple this mix is on a downtempo vibe. I mean the whole mix isn’t downtempo but for the most part the songs are very ethereal, ambient and highly cinematic. I compiled all the songs Tuesday night and banged it out yesterday after work. Nothing specific inspired me to do it other than the music itself. In all honesty I’m tired of every mix I hear or see being a club mix, uptempo electro, dub step, etc. This is far from perfect but I made it for myself really and just decided to put it out cause I know some of my friends will be into it. I love how music can be so simple/complex at the same time. Ultimately, I just love music and I hope this conveys that!

It’s amazing to see how color can brighten up your day and you might not even realize it.  Shot by Adam Berg, this video takes you to Brazil, France, London and India where 120 different colors were used to paint buildings and structures.

Breakbot Ft. Irfane – Baby Im Yours

Ed Banger Records has just dropped their latest video release by BREAKBOT feat. Irfane, “Baby I’m Yours”. It was directed and quite literally handmade by Irina Dakava. If you do not already know who Breakbot, he is a self-proclaimed, awesome, sexy Frenchman who makes electronic music that is mainly breakbeat-orientated. The video is a beautiful sequence composed of approximately 2,000 individual images, each painstakingly painted with watercolors one right after another.

Have a video of the upcoming duo Chiddy Bang stopping by the Translation marketing agency that is owned by Jay-Z and Steve Stoute. In the video you see what was a small freestyle lasting to a seven minute unleashing by Chiddy while Noah laying down some dope production.
